Today, April 22nd, we celebrate Earth Day. For many, it is a simple recurrence; for Atlantic Man., it is the moment to measure the results of a concrete, tangible, and certified commitment.
Industrial sustainability in Castelnovo di Sotto
At our headquarters in Castelnovo di Sotto (RE), sustainability is not just an intention, but an operational standard. Thanks to the 96 kW photovoltaic system installed on our roof, we have radically transformed the environmental impact of manufacturing our nursery systems and our industrial components.
Our commitment in numbers (since 2017)
Here is what we have saved the planet thanks to our energy choices:

📉 1,267,348.44 kg of CO₂: Over a million kilograms of carbon dioxide kept out of the atmosphere.

🚗 The equivalent of 279 cars: It is like having removed nearly three hundred vehicles from the road for an entire year.

🌬️ Cleaner air: Reduction of 200 kg of nitrogen oxides (NOₓ) and 129 kg of sulfur dioxide (SO₂).
Innovation and ISO 14001 Certification
Today, we cover approximately 70% of our energy needs through solar power. This achievement is integrated with the adoption of LED lighting systems and, above all, with our ISO 14001 environmental certification.
This certification officially guarantees our commitment to constantly monitoring and reducing the environmental footprint of all our production activities.
